The Nusa Islands are three small Indonesian islands just a 40 minutes fast boat ride from Bali. They are so nearby destination and definitely a MUST visit when you’re heading over to this area of Indonesia.

  • Rent a scooter

You can grab a scooter for around 50,000-70,000 IDR per day. Ask the hotel if they offer a scooter or you can take from any other place on the a scooter in nusa lembongan

  • Get a Taxi or Driver

Nusa Islands are connected via the well-known yellow bridge, which is wide enough to be crossed with a motorbike, but too small for a car ride. To explore both of the islands you should get a taxi or private driver. One driver for Nusa Ceningan and another driver for Nusa Lembongan.

From Bali, you can grab a fast boat from Sanur harbor directly to Nusa Lembongan. There are many competing tours and they charge around 400,000 IDR (45 Bulgarian Lev or 23 Euros) for a return ticket and they pick up and drop off you from and to your hotel in Bali. Your driver will pick you up from any location.

From Ubud it’s a 2-hour drive, Kuta about 1-hour, Canggu about 1.5-hour, it really depends on the traffic. With the fast boat to Lembongan, it takes roughly 40 minutes to get from Bali to Nusa Lembongan and is a smooth enough ride depending on the weather.

Some of the main ferry companies are: rockyfastcruise and scootcruise

We stayed in Nusa Lembongan at a charming local resort called Pemedal Beach Resort. When we arrived with the boat in Nusa Lembongan we were picked with a taxi to the resort (I don’t remember the price, but it depends on the number of people). The taxi looks like the car in the picture below.

1. Devil’s Tear

Where is it on the map?

Overview – offering panoramic views of the coastline and some of the craziest waves I have ever seen, Devil’s Tears is definitely one of the coolest spots on Lembongan island. After the crash, if the waves against the rocks, you see a huge spray and then what looks like dozens of mini waterfalls cascading down back into the water. The water is a beautiful color of blue. There are a few snack huts available to top up your energy.

Hey, thank you that you like it the guide. When we were on these two islands, we rented a scooter from our hotel in Nusa Lembongan. They provide us with their scooter, but I don’t remember the price. I can give you one driver that we use it but he is on the Bali island not in the Nusa Lembongan. Also, my recommendation for riding the scooter for three of you is possible if you a good driver and have an experience. The roads there are not in good condition and it is risky for you. The driver name is Yus Arimbawa. You can find him on Facebook or call him +62 81 239 45252. If you have any questions don’t hesitate to text me. Have a great day.
